Privacy Policy

We may collect, use and/or maintain records of your personal information such as your name, address, phone number, Membership Data and/ or other unique personal identifier, as the case may be, to provide and facilitate use of EasyToken. The personal information we collect may also be used for the following purposes: for troubleshooting problems and technical or security issues, for detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity, to enforce these Terms or as required by any applicable laws, rules or regulations or governmental requirements, for other internal purposes, as otherwise expressly informed at the time of collection, and to keep you informed about our products and services.

In the process of passing information (“Message”) between Devices during a Token exchange this information is temporarily stored by EasyToken so facilitate the message passing. The EasyToken is an encrypted key to this information. The message will be stored as long as the token session is valid but will deleted automatically on session closure or by automated scripts to ensure its removal.

When using the “Share Contact” feature your chosen contact information and photo, if chosen, will be stored on EasyToken for the duration of the Token session. This information is not stored permanently on EasyToken serves and multiple levels of security apporaches have been implemented to protect this information.

We may collect anonymised aggregated information about your general internet and Application usage, including through the use of cookies and other such devices, to monitor frequency of use and specific usage within any part of EasyToken and use it for statistical purposes, to improve our services, create new features, fix bugs, more accurately meet your preferences, etc.

Except as expressly provided herein, absent your prior consent, we do not permit unrelated third parties to perform "reverse searches" whereby they could identify users from email addresses. In addition, the following describes some of the ways that your personal information may be disclosed in the normal scope of business to provide you with EasyToken:

Advertisers. We may aggregate personal information and disclose such information in a non-personally identifiable manner to advertisers and other third parties for their marketing and promotional purposes. In these situations, we would only disclose information that could be used to identify you personally with your explicit consent.

External Service Providers. Third Party Applications and Sites, here also referred to as external service providers, will typically provide services complementary to your use of EasyToken. If you choose to use these separate services, disclose information to the external service providers, and/ or grant them permission to collect information about you, then their use of your information is governed by their privacy policy. With your consent, and for your convenience, we may provide some of your personal information to an external service provider offering such services. To prevent our disclosure of your personally identifiable information to an external service provider, you can decline such consent or simply not use their services. Because we do not control the privacy practices of these third parties, you should evaluate their practices before deciding to use their services.

Internal Service Providers. We may use third parties that we refer to as internal service providers to facilitate or outsource one or more aspects of our business, products and services that we provide to you and, therefore, we may provide some of your personal information directly to these internal service providers (e.g. customer care). In some instances, the internal service provider may collect information directly from you. In these cases, you will be notified of the involvement of the internal service provider. If you provide additional information to an internal service provider directly, then their use of your personally identifiable information is governed by their applicable privacy policy.

Analytics Providers. We may use third parties that we refer to as analytics providers to analyze and track aggregated anonymous statistical information about your general Application and internet usage. EasyToken and/or EasyToken's analytics providers may perform statistical, demographic and marketing analysis of this information for product development purposes and this information may also be used to allow our advertisers to provide, in aggregate, more targeted advertising.

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, we do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information or non-personally-identifiable information on EasyToken from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of our Services are directed to persons under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access EasyToken at any time or in any manner. If we learn that personally identifiable information of persons under 13 years of age has been collected within EasyToken without verified parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this Information.

We cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed through no fault of ours, not otherwise provided for in this Privacy Policy. By way of example, without limiting the foregoing, we may be forced to disclose personal information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access your transmissions or communications. Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will always remain private. However, we shall use reasonable commercial and legal efforts to protect our Users' information and to maintain the privacy and anonymity of members and Users.

In the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, or sell all or substantially all of our assets, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information and content we have received and collected from our Users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how your personal information is treated, transferred or used.
